Alfred RankinAlfred M. Rankin, Jr.

Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of NACCO Industries, Inc. Chairman of NACCO Materials Handling Group

Mr. Rankin has guided NACCO since May 1994 and has served as Chairman of NACCO Materials Handling Group, Inc., since October 2008. Mr. Rankin joined NACCO as President and Chief Operating Officer in 1989, after spending three years as Vice Chairman, Chief Operating Officer and a Director with Eaton Corporation. He had also served successively as President of Eaton's Materials Handling and Industrial Groups, and as Executive Vice President - Operations. Prior to his fifteen years at Eaton, Mr. Rankin worked for McKinsey and Company, a management consulting firm. He currently serves on the Board of Directors at Goodrich Corporation and the Vanguard Group, as Director and Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland and as a Trustee and President of the Cleveland Museum of Art. Mr. Rankin is also a director and member of the executive committee of the National Association of Manufacturers.

Michael BroganMichael P. Brogan

President and Chief Executive Officer

As President and Chief Executive Officer of NACCO Materials Handling Group, Michael Brogan is charged with providing the strategic vision and global leadership that keeps NMHG moving forward, a role for which he has spent much of his career preparing. With an educational background in Mechanical Engineering, Mr. Brogan joined NMHG as Director of European Parts Operations and was soon promoted to director of Engineering for NMHG’s European operations. Since then he has served as VP/Managing Director for NMHG Srl Italy, VP of Warehouse Product Strategy, Senior VP of both Product Development/Procurement and International Operations/Development. Most recently, prior to becoming President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Brogan served as NMHG’s Executive VP of Operations.

Colin WilsonColin Wilson

Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and President, Americas

As Chief Operating Officer for NMHG, Colin Wilson brings over 40 years of experience in the materials handling industry. Mr. Wilson began his career in 1970 with Coles Cranes in Sunderland, England, where he worked in design engineering, marketing and product management. He joined the NACCO Materials Handling Group family in 1988 as European Sales and Marketing Director for the Yale® brand. From here, he moved into the role of Managing Director of Yale Europe before being named President of Yale Materials Handling Corporation. In 2002 Mr. Wilson was appointed President of NMHG operations throughout the Americas and three years later moved into his current position as NMHG Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Additionally, Colin Wilson is the Immediate Past Chairman of the Materials Handling Institute of America (MHIA), and has also served as a member of the Material Handling Equipments Distributors Association’s (MHEDA) Manufacturers Board of Advisors (MBOA) and as President of the British Industrial Truck Association (BITA).  

Lauren MillerLauren E. Miller

Senior Vice President, Marketing and Consulting

Ms. Miller has enjoyed a long and successful career as both a marketer and strategist. She joined NACCO in 1990 after serving as Sales and Marketing Manager for Eaton's Automotive Controls Division.  Prior to that Ms. Miller was Coporate Strategy Development Manager and Strategic Planning Manager for Eaton's Industrial Truck Division. Her career in corporate marketing also included working as a Research Analyst for Central National Bank. She was elevated to her position with NMHG in 2008 and is also responsible for leading an internal consulting group at NACCO that works jointly with the holding company’s subsidiaries to support their long-term competitive positions, assist in acquisition and divestiture activities and support the strategic planning process. Ms. Miller holds a Masters of Science in Management from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.

Kenneth C. Schilling

Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Schilling serves as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for NMHG and Vice President and Controller for NACCO Industries, Inc. He oversees financial reporting, accounting, tax compliance, tax strategies, financial analysis and financial planning. Mr. Shilling joined NACCO in 1991 as Tax Manager after spending six years with Arthur Andersen LLP. In 1995, he was promoted to NACCO’s Manager of Tax and Budgeting and became Controller one year later. He took on added duties as VP/CFO for NMHG in October 2008. Mr. Shilling holds a J.D. degree from The Ohio State University School of Law and is currently a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. Additionally he is active in Financial Executives International and The Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation - Finance Council. Mr. Schilling is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Cuyahoga County Public Library Foundation.

CHARLES A. BITTENBENDER 

Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

Mr. Bittenbender is the chief legal and administrative officer of NACCO, with oversight responsibility for all legal, corporate and ethics compliance, corporate secretarial, human resources, compensation and administrative activities of the Company and its subsidiaries. Mr. Bittenbender is also Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of NACCO’s largest subsidiary, NACCO Materials Handling Group, Inc., a position he has held since October 2008. Mr. Bittenbender joined NACCO as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary in July 1990. Prior to joining NACCO, he was Deputy General Counsel of G.D. Searle & Co., a research based manufacturer and marketer of pharmaceutical products located in Chicago, Illinois, a position he had held since September 1988. From January 1980 until September 1988, he practiced law with the law firm of Jones Day in Cleveland, Ohio. He held several management positions between 1971 and 1979 with The Ohio Bell Telephone Company in Cleveland, Ohio.  

Mr. Bittenbender received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Claremont McKenna College and a Juris Doctor degree from Cleveland State University where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Cleveland State Law Review. He is admitted to the practice of law in Ohio, Illinois and before federal courts. He is a member of the American, Ohio, Illinois and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations. Mr. Bittenbender is a Director and former Chairman of Judson Retirement Community and a Trustee of The Cleveland Institute of Music.

Rajiv PrasadRajiv K. Prasad

Vice President, Global Product Development

As Vice President, Global Product Development, Rajiv Prasad guides all aspects of the NMHG product development system. His ultimate responsibility is to ensure that the products and innovations introduced by NMHG address customer needs fully and efficiently. His career in product engineering began in 1986 with Ford Motor Company. In 1999, he joined Lear Corporation, taking on positions with greater responsibility, before moving to International Truck and Engine Corporation to serve as Vice President of Global Product Development. Mr. Prasad joined NMHG in 2007 where he has guided developments that have included introduction of the new Electric Rider Platform. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Advanced Vehicle Concepts, both from Loughborough University, in Leicestershire, UK.

Ralf MockRalf Mock

Managing Director, Europe, Middle East and Africa

Ralf Mock joined NACCO Materials Handling Group as Managing Director Europe, Middle East and Africa in 2006. Prior to that, he was with Villeroy and Boch AG, a leading manufacturer of ceramic products. There he managed the global wholesale and retail distribution and manufacturing operations for the Tableware Division. Mock began his career with Linde AG where he served in a variety of capacities including finance, accounting/controlling, marketing and sales. While with Linde he worked in the Materials Handling, Refrigeration, and Technical Gases divisions, as well as the company’s global headquarters. Later during his tenure at Linde he was appointed Managing Director for the Linde Materials Handling division, Aschaffenburg, Germany. Mock holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Cologne, Germany.

Vice President, Asia-Pacific

Vickie Rickey joined NMHG in 1995 as Managing Director for the Europe, Africa, and Middle East Division. After a brief absence during which she served in Corporate Planning as Chief Marketing Officer, Mrs. Rickey resumed her role in operation as VP of NMHG’s Asia Pacific region. Currently, she oversees the financial performance of NMHG businesses in China and Asia-Pacific, and serves as liaison with Sumitomo-NACCO. Prior to joining NMHG, she spent two decades working in purchasing, distribution, business development, international sales, and marketing management for J.I. Case Corporation, a global manufacturer and marketer of agriculture and construction equipment. Mrs. Rickey received an MIM in International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management, Arizona and a BS Degree in Marketing and German from Millikin University, Illinois. She remains involved with education programs through her work at the University of Chicago, Harvard University, and Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business. 

Michael RosbergMichael E. Rosberg

Vice President, Global Supply Chain

Michael Rosberg joined NMHG in 2006 after spending more than 35 years helping to guide the international sourcing, procurement, and distribution efforts for some of the world’s most respected brands. His long and successful career includes coordinating procurement and logistics across 54 global manufacturing locations for the Brunswick Boat Group; serving as Vice President, International Procurement for Maytag; and managing the international purchasing efforts for Deere and Company. In his current position as NMHG Vice President, Global Supply Chain, Mr. Rosberg is responsible for procurement, logistics, supplier quality engineering, materials planning and scheduling and demand planning. His industry experience spans the materials handling, marine, appliance, heavy equipment and agricultural industries. He holds a BA degree in Business Administration from the University of Northern Iowa and has also studied Japanese at Inlingua School of Languages.

Don ChanceDonald L. Chance, Jr.

President, NMHG Sales, Americas

Mr. Chance manages sales and services for the Hyster and Yale lines of products as well as overseeing their distribution networks. Mr. Chance is responsible for all of NMHG’s products and services including lift trucks, Financial Services, ReMarketing, Fleet Management, National Accounts and dealer relations in the Americas. He is also a vice president of NACCO Materials Handling Group. Mr. Chance has been with NACCO and NMHG for 39 years, during which time he has held a number of positions, including Director of Dealer Development, Manager of Dealer Operations, General Sales Manager, Area Manager, and Regional Retail Manager. He stepped into this role in 2009 after heading up the Yale brand for 11 years. Mr. Chance began his career in materials handling with the Eaton Corporation and earned his Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Delaware Valley College. He is on the Board of Directors for both the Industrial Truck Association and the Material Handling Distribution Association.

Hugo BarrosHugo Barros

President, NMHG Brazil, Americas

As President of NACCO Materials Handling Brazil Ltda., (Sao Paulo, Brazil) Barros is responsible for all aspects of the company’s business throughout Brazil. Barros joined NMHG Brazil in 2008 as Marketing Manager and was promoted to Marketing and Sales Director the following year. In 2010, he assumed his current duties as President of NMHG Brazil. Prior to joining NMHG Brazil Barros had worked for more than15 years with Ingersoll-Rand. He held a variety of positions with Ingersoll-Rand that enabled Barros to develop a solid track record and key business experience in the Brazilian and Latin America markets. Mr. Moraes Barros earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Estadual Paulista (São Paulo State University).
